With the money of the donation a crib room of the Libertad kindergarten was furnished. Last week we had the visit of the foundation Comparte, the winner of the initiative “Opinions that matter”. Claudio Lavanchy, its director, went to our Barcelona’s office to gives us an update about the project that the donation was given to.
The session started with a short presentation from our co-worker Yolanda, in which she mention the good results from the satisfaction survey given to our clients, through it the initiative “Opinions that matters” is done. Afterwards Claudio talked about the Foundation and told us in which projects and countries they take part.
Among all the countries in which they cooperate, the donation was given in full to one of the projects of the Foundation Cepas in Chile. With the money of the donation a crib room of the Libertad kindergarten was furnished, in Coronel, Chile. This kindergarten and crib room plays an important role because it allows the mothers of the community to go to work or find work with the certainty that their children are in a warm, safe place and that they are being properly fed. The goal is to find a healthy and educational space where the kids can take their first steps and that allows the mothers to work and to improve their lives.
It was very emotional to be able to see how the project that we are supporting is going, to know a little bit more about the area and to notice the great work of the foundation.
